Every credential DTTASA claims is listed below with a direct route to check it independently, on the official registry or platform that issued it, not on our website. If you are doing due diligence before you give, this page is for you.
Where an official public registry exists, we link straight to it. Where a programme has no public directory, we say so plainly and offer the documentation on request instead.
DTTASA is registered with Nigeria's Corporate Affairs Commission as an Incorporated Trustees non-profit under the name Diaspora Together Trust and Support Association.
Search our registered name or registration number on the Commission's free public search. No account needed.
The Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering (SCUML), operationally domiciled within the EFCC, certifies designated non-financial institutions, including NGOs, for anti-money-laundering compliance.
Search on the EFCC's official verification tool, or email info@dttasa.org for a copy of the certificate.
A D-U-N-S number is a unique global business identifier issued by Dun & Bradstreet, used by grant-makers, corporates, and platforms to identify organisations.
Look up our organisation name on Dun & Bradstreet's official lookup tool.
NIDCOM is the Nigerian federal commission responsible for diaspora engagement. There is no public online lookup we can link to for this one, so we offer the paperwork instead.
Email info@dttasa.org to request our approval documentation, or contact NIDCOM directly via nidcom.gov.ng.
Google for Nonprofits admits organisations only after their non-profit status is validated by Goodstack, Google's verification partner. Google does not publish a public member directory.
Email info@dttasa.org to request our membership confirmation. Our Goodstack validation (below) is the underlying check.
Benevity powers workplace-giving programmes for many major employers. Causes on the platform are vetted before employees can donate to them.
If your employer uses Benevity, search Diaspora Together Trust and Support Association inside your employer's giving portal. Benevity's cause directory is accessed through employer portals rather than a public site; documentation is available on request.
Goodstack validates non-profit status for major technology platforms, including Google for Nonprofits. Its checks are run against official registry data.
Goodstack has no public directory. Email info@dttasa.org for our validation confirmation, or verify the underlying CAC registration directly above.
Apple verifies an organisation's non-profit status as part of Apple Developer Programme enrolment. Apple does not publish a public directory of non-profit members.
Email info@dttasa.org to request our enrolment confirmation.
Online donations on this site are processed by Paystack, a payment processor licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria. DTTASA never sees or stores your card details.
When you donate, the secure checkout window is served by paystack.com and names DTTASA as the merchant. You can confirm Paystack's licence status at paystack.com.
Project New Dawn's $600 million figure is a multi-year fundraising target, not money already raised. The campaign launched in 2025 and stays open until the target is reached, however long that takes.
We would rather state that plainly than let a big number stand unexplained. Progress is reported openly as the work grows, and accounts are prepared to audit standard and made available to grant-makers, major donors, and corporate partners on request.
Charities get impersonated. If anyone asks you to give to DTTASA through a channel not listed here, it is not us. Check first, give second.
Our only websites are dttasa.org and its subdomains (such as haven.dttasa.org). Any other domain claiming to be DTTASA is not ours.
Official DTTASA email addresses always end in @dttasa.org, for example info@dttasa.org and donations@dttasa.org.
Our only donation bank account is:
We will never ask you to pay a personal account or a different account.
Card donations run only through the Paystack checkout on dttasa.org/donate-support-us or our official GoFundMe campaign linked from that page. We never collect card details by email, phone, or chat apps.
Grant-makers, corporate partners, and major donors can request:
General: info@dttasa.org
Donors & receipts: donations@dttasa.org
Grant-makers & partners: vicepresident@dttasa.org
UK phone: +44 7396 978981
We respond within 48 hours, usually faster.
Verification is what we owe every donor. If what you found holds up, here is where your gift goes to work.
