Volunteering with DTTASA is not a CV line. It is a direct contribution to one of the most ambitious diaspora-driven development programmes in Nigeria's history.
Active volunteers work alongside the DTTASA leadership team on real programmes — communications that reach international donors, fundraising that funds schools and clinics, digital campaigns that bring Project New Dawn to grant-makers. The work matters from day one.
All roles are remote and open to all nationalities. You do not need to be Nigerian or based in the UK to volunteer — only passionate about the work and ready to commit.
Outstanding volunteers are recognised and may advance into executive roles — shaping the direction of an association building permanent infrastructure across 36 Nigerian states.

Fundraising Volunteer
Work alongside our fundraising team to engage donors, organise campaigns, write funding applications, and expand the reach and impact of DTTASA's programmes including Project New Dawn.

Manage DTTASA's social media channels, create engaging posts and content, support digital content editing and document formatting, and help tell the story of the work we are doing.

Manage and optimise DTTASA's Google Ad Grant campaigns to drive awareness of Project New Dawn and our programmes. Requires Google Ads experience or a strong willingness to learn SEO and digital marketing.

Coordinate volunteer activities, onboard and support new recruits, maintain clear communication across the volunteer network, and support recruitment interviews as the team grows.
